The revised 2nd edition of the first part of the 6-volume work on the identification of wild bees in Switzerland (Apidae1) contains a key for the identification of bee genera and deals with the genera Apis and Bombus (bumblebees) in great detail. In this new edition, everything has been recreated, the texts have been revised, the identification keys have been improved and the drawings of distribution maps have been updated. The texts are - with the exception of the German style descriptions - written in German and French.
